Director, Strategic Finance Business Development

Position Summary:
GoHealth Urgent Care is looking to hire a Strategic Finance Sr. Director to assist in all aspects of the company’s business development efforts, including M&A, joint ventures, new partnership opportunities, financing and other strategic transactions. We seek a team member who thrives in a growth culture and will help support and enhance our business development capabilities to ensure that we can meet or exceed our strategic growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead financial evaluation process and due diligence process for all potential new joint ventures (JV) and all merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities.
- Lead and support valuation modeling and provide valuation expertise to business development team.
- Lead/support financial due diligence, including current and projected performance expectations and financial transaction modeling.
- Determine data gaps and evaluate completeness and accuracy of data provided by prospective JV and M&A targets
- Own internal and external presentations summarizing pro forma financial analysis and associated assumptions and support data
- Lead and participate in dialogue with the Executive Leadership Team and other key Company stakeholders as it relates to financial and strategic rationale for of deal structure and deal negotiations
- Collaborate efficiently and effectively with stakeholders to socialize key financial assumptions and buy-in and insight as required
- Drive processes with existing and prospective JV partner deal teams to develop, validate, and summarize pro forma model and associated financial analysis
- Build relationships with potential JV partner’s and M&A targets’ finance team to ensure successful relationship management.
- Provide accurate and timely analytics, reports, and insightful observations to business development team to enhance pipeline development
- Develop and drive a consolidated and standardized process for JV and M&A financial evaluation
- Collaborate effectively across the organization and coordinate with Development, finance, legal, revenue cycle, People, and other internal team members to help complete modeling and due diligence process
- Grow and cultivate a team to continually improve and drive greater performance
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5+ years of progressive responsibility in financial services or consulting with experience in financial analysis, data analytics, modeling, or M&A.
- Extensive valuation and financial modeling skills required
- Experience in the healthcare sector is highly preferred
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint) with strong Excel skills required
- Excellent communication, written, verbal, and presentation skills required
- Leadership experience required
- CPA, CFA, or similar designation preferred
