Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth Urgent Care Opens Four New Locations

More Connecticut residents can now access high-quality, affordable care as Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth Urgent Care opened four new centers today. With the new locations in Meriden, Derby, Southington and North Haven, patients throughout the state are gaining increased access to the Hartford HealthCare network.

Now, the Meriden, Derby and Southington communities are each home to two Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth centers. And for the first time, Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth has opened a location in North Haven.

The four new locations bring the total number of Hartford Healthcare-GoHealth centers in Connecticut to 33.

"With 33 centers and counting, we continue our mission to provide access to high-quality care when and where people need it,” said Eric Walsh, M.D., medical director, Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth. “Our team is dedicated to ensuring patients receive the best care possible. We look forward to serving these communities and becoming a trusted healthcare resource for every resident."

Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth centers offer patients the added benefit of a direct connection to Hartford HealthCare’s robust care network, which is nationally recognized for quality and safety.

"We continue to advance the model of on-demand healthcare across the state,” said Jeffrey A. Flaks, President and CEO, Hartford HealthCare. “Embedding this type of access to world-class, non-emergent care directly into communities is a game-changing, cost-effective solution. Making healthcare more convenient and affordable is what drives us to continuously innovate and expand our services – ensuring everyone has access to high-quality care throughout Connecticut.”

Affordable, convenient neighborhood urgent care

The new centers offer treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, on-site X-ray services and diagnostic testing. They are open 365 days a year, including holidays, with regular hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.

Patients seeking care can be seen quickly and easily by walking into any Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth center or by using Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth's online "save a spot” tool, which allows patients to save time by securing their spot in line, checking in and completing registration. Patients may also connect with a Hartford HealthCare-GoHealth provider remotely with a Virtual Visit, via a mobile device, computer or tablet.
