UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care Welcomes Four New Directors of Operations 

GoHealth Urgent Care is pleased to welcome to the team four new directors of operations who will lead UPMC-GoHealth's operations teams across three states. Together, they aim to provide high-quality care, deliver exceptional service, and continue to increase access to care for the communities we serve.

Christy McCory – Northwest Pennsylvania 

Christy McCory – Northwest Pennsylvania 

Christy McCory, a University of Pittsburgh graduate, has been with UPMC for more than 12 years. Most of her career has been with the emergency medicine/urgent care division, serving in operational roles with increasing responsibilities. As the previous division administrator of the UPMC Urgent Cares, she focused on expanding patient access and improving continuity of care. Outside of work, Christy is a mother of two and enjoys camping, traveling, and running marathons.

Connie Miller – Southwest Pennsylvania

Connie Miller – Southwest Pennsylvania

Connie Miller started her career with MedExpress in 2008 as the Greensburg center manager. She was promoted to area manager and has supported up to 22 centers. Before MedExpress, she worked in health and safety, disability case management, and critical care/cardiology nursing. She is committed to quality patient care, operational efficiency, and employee satisfaction. In her free time, she enjoys golfing and boating. 

Jon Kirkland – Central Pennsylvania 

Jon Kirkland – Central Pennsylvania 

Jon Kirkland is a veteran with over 20 years of experience in patient care and medical operations. He has supported numerous urgent care facilities and served as an aerospace medical services superintendent in the U.S. Air National Guard. His previous roles include patient care coordinator, emergency medical technician, and X-ray technician. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and watching University of Tennessee football games.

Kim Brooks – West Virginia 

Kim Brooks – West Virginia 

Kim Brooks is an experienced operations manager with 15 years at MedExpress. She has overseen day-to-day activities, improved operational efficiency, and ensured top-quality patient care. Kim has a proven history of leading teams and managing resources. Outside of work, she is a mother of four and grandmother to soon-to-be 13 grandchildren. She enjoys spending quality time with her family.
